Dear Yvette,
I would just like to thank you for your wonderful newsletter. I have subscribed to it for a number of years (with various e-mail addresses over that time)and it always motivates me to tackle the ever overwhelming job of keeping a life filled with stuff in order. I enjoy the wit and humour you project on your website (as I read through it a few smirks escape me) Its so refreshing to know a smart active real woman is behind the newsletter.
Thanks again,
Dear Yvette
Thank you so much for the article on catching up on paper work. You must have had a sneak peak at my desk! It is piled up – I run a security business from my office which is attached to my house. The office is an embarrassment – it costs me money because I can never find stuff when I need it which can be quite serious when it comes to staff contracts. Every now and then I get fed up with all the paper on my desk and stuff it all into a box under my desk which in turn gets left until I need something urgently at which time I find returns that should have been submitted and my life falls apart.
Your article is just what I need to help me to get started and focus – lets face it this is not rocket science so why cant I get it under control. I would far rather faced armed criminals than sort through this stuff. If I could pass my detective exams with honors how come I cant keep this under control??? I think if my lecturers saw my office they would revoke my certificates! Its so nice to know that I am not the only one who has a problem with this.
I love you book but obviously I need to dust it off and read it again to get control of my life. You make it appear so simple and you help me to believe that I CAN actually get organized!
Thank you for sending me your book. My computer crashed a while ago and a lot of my files are corrupt and wont open so I am so glad to have it on the computer again – fortunately I printed the first one as the only place I could read it without being disrupted by paper was in bed!!!!!!
Thank you again. I will be starting today.
Best wishes

Dear Yvette,
I do love reading your newsletter. You are very helpful.

Thanks, Yvette, this is just what I need at the moment.!! Glad to hear your feeling better...keep smiling.

Thanks so much for the words of inspiration. It helps me re-set and start over when necessary -- this week being another restart on organizing. Your style of writing reminds me of a favorite cousin who is a second mother to me -- comforting!
I can relate to the cat running and sending papers flying. I have three. 2 are cleptomaniacs -- especially with pens. With papers, they always sit on the one I need to pickup and read!
Take care and Have a good day!

Hi Yvette
Thanks for sending to my email address which is still good and I still love hearing from you!!!
Your article about filing is just in time because that's what I was working on today. Just about done, and I have no regrets or wondering about if I did it the best way or not....I know because I followed your directions which are always clear and simple.
Keep me on your list always...

Hello,
I would like to thank you for your excellent tips and sharing them with me. I have been recovering from a hip replacement and have had some time to think about your daily tips. How easy it all is when these tips are followed, especially the one about the never ending mail which we receive through the post and now instead of having piles of stuff (to sort out later in case I should need any of the stuff which comes as offers) I now discard it right away and what a difference that one thing has made to our house. I
shall carry on putting your tips into practice and should have a much more relaxed life because of this.
Thank you again I even have time to send an email now!
(and from the same reader re the paperwork article)
Hi there
This is one of the best Organizing tips.
I can’t wait to get started.
I have years of paperwork and this has highlighted my (mess) so I will dedicate my next day off work to this and I really am looking forward to it.
I will pass this on to my daughter in law as her paperwork has also accumulated.
I think that sometimes it only needs someone or something to make one aware that it is easier to follow a plan that works -tried and tested -instead of muddling away and getting nowhere. Your tips certainly worked for me and I shall keep on following them. Thanks.

Hi Yvette,
I am a little behind on reading this newsletter, but I have to tell you how happy I am to be reading it. I stopped so that I could write you this email before I forgot! I have read a lot of organizing books, websites & I have tried many, many, many systems in order to finally get/be organized. You are one of the few that "gets it." Especially for someone like myself. I am a Momma of 1, a newlywed & totally ADHD. My inability to organize paper is almost overtaking me at this point. I let it slide until I lose something important or I feel helpless with paper and then I promise that I "won't ever let it get this bad again!" which I usually do. The key for me is not to beat myself up over it and the missing link seems to be STICKING WITH IT. I have a blog and learning to be organized is a frequent theme. It is nice to know that I am not alone in the learning process. My goal now is to find a system & stick with it, not giving up when I get bored or confused.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you!

Dear Yvette,
I am following most of your tips. Some I have not got around to implementing yet. They are all wonderful and they are an inspiration. I am a devoted follower of your tips to get and stay organized. I find your way of sending these in sessions a wonderful way of keeping the objective firmly in mind. A book can so easily be put aside or even disappear in a deluge of clutter. One can also easily persuade yourself that you do not have time. If we follow your tips however, you'll soon find a way to get ahead in creating a better space for yourself and those who are around you.
Keep up the good work. Be blessed.

Thanks for the tips
The tips make me look around the house and see just what I need to do
We are all clutters and the tips are helping to get rid of all the items that just lay around and don't have any value
I am surprised that everybody here is pitching in to help
I got a composition book and have been putting appointments ---things to do everyday----
If I get most of the to do list done in one day I move it to the next day.
I don't put more to do's than I think I can handle in one day with all the Dr. appointments --
Again thank you
always
Hi Yvette,
Just a quick note to say that I think your article on scanning photos is great and so appropriate for me.
I am due to go to hospital in early March and I might finally get the time to read your emails. They are stored on my computer in a safe spot but I am normally run off my feet and by the end of the day too tired to read...the words just seem to go around in my head and I can’t focus on what I am reading.
Hopefully while I am convalescing I will be able to organise my life. I do so want to do some family history and scan my dog show photos.
Looking forward to the break and thank you for being so organised.
I really do enjoy it and you are so understanding.
Regards,
Shirley Massey, Berkeley NSW Australia.
