Thank you, Yvette.  That's a wonderful, kind, calm, realistic set of affirmations and decisions with which to close 2009 and walk into 2010.
With every good wish,

Marita, S.E. London, UK

thanks again Yvette - you should see my desk! You gave me a serious boot where it was needed! I can see the desk tonight and have paid the bills and have a plan for more time this winter!
Keep up the good work

Yvette,
It is freeing to hear someone say that being organized is a trait that some of us do not have.  I usually say that I have ADD.  I try not to use it as a crutch, but I recognize it as it is and try to focus. I graduated from college, not the best grades, with this trait.  I am 60 yrs old and I still have to continually try to organize things. I try to prioritize before I get out if bed the things I need to do first.  ( dishes, laundry, make my bed, then clean up messes the day before, than what I want to do);need before want. Thank you,

Hi Yvette
Your website and emails have been a discovery 'in season' for me. A few weeks ago my husband, who leads a church and is also my boss (a good one!), suggested I take some time out of the office to try to recover from what seemed to be unending fatigue.  I found your website a couple of weeks ago and it has been just the extra inspiration and motivation to begin to tackle the 'spring cleaning' jobs around the house, which of course, is also actually de-fogging my head!
I've a made a start, in fact a good 'dent', in the my to do list - so thanks for the help and to keep up the good work!

Yours, in appreciation,

Naomi x, UK

Hi Yvette
Loved this topic. Suits me perfectly. I waste a lot of time at the computer.
Bills still don't get sorted/paid/filed, and my other job - as a writer - gets interrupted too.
You talk about making it a routine.
I know there's the saying do something for 21 days and it becomes a habit, but I have trouble getting to the 21 day stage.
Any tricks to try and make that routine stick?
Regards

Jane Beckenham, Auckland, New Zealand

Yvette here - My advice for getting to the 21 days or however long it takes to establish a habit is to just keep starting, ignoring any missed days.  If we stop trying to be perfect and just keep persisting with the desired behaviour its easier.

Hi Yvette
I just so love your emails - I love your sense of humour.....and I truly love your honesty........I really feel that I know you so well......you just seem so real and normal (whatever that is !)
Thanks for your continued advice and suggestions - and all the wonderful laughs -

Best wishes xx

Hi Yvette
Thanks for the newsletter.
I find them really useful and a boost at times when things seem too daunting. Especially liked this one to help keep feet on the ground.

I have 10 children 5 of whom are still living at home ages 19, 17, 15, 14 and 11 years. This is not a blended family, they are all mine and my husbands.(That is obviously the first question people ask me).August last year we bought a business that I am running from home and have had to put a huge amount of time to get to grips with it and keep on top of it.I know that the extra effort is going to become less effort and more efficient but it is still working toward that end.

To read the basics of routines even though I am fairly good at them is a reminder that life needs to be kept on an even keel if we are to ride the storms and come out on top as I intend to do.
Thankyou once again and keep up the great ideas.

Cheers Sally

Hi Yvette,
You have motivated me to start learning my Japanese on line, my biggest problem is that I have to much time and  I busy myself by being busy doing things that do not need to be done, or conversely put off things that need to be done - like starting to learn my Japanese again.
I am a neat freak - probably bordering on the compulsive -- but hey it takes all kinds to make the world!!!!!!
Once again Yvette, please keep writing as I and many other enjoy hearing from you and most importantly stay well.
regards

Annette, Melbourne, Australia

Thank you for this heart stopping tip of the day. My kitchen is a very sore spot for me, my cleaning, and organizing habits. I am working towards pressing my will power to change. I sincerely thank you for the tips.

"Yvette is a great coach who inspires you to overcome the obstacles that she finds in working with you.  She is highly motivated and has worked hard to increase her knowledge in many areas that in turn help her clients.  Yvette draws on her own real life experience adn studies to help those of us who have to juggle many responsibilities and mangage the conflicts in thinking that come from that.  I am looking forward to working with Yvette again in the near future"
